iTunes won't update in Windows 10 RTM

I upgraded to Windows 10 Technical Preview in June and updated to Windows 10 RTM today. iTunes will open on Windows 10 but it will not update to the most recent version. The error that pops up says iTunes has stopped working. Any advice?

It seems that some people running Windows 10 have had success first installing this versioniTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) and then updating that to the current all-64 bit release.
