How to view external hard drive plugged into time capsule

Hi -

How do I view the external hard drive I have plugged into my AirPort Time Capsule? I setup the Time Machine backup on the AirPort just fine, but have an external hard drive plugged into it that I would like to use as a wireless manual backup. Yesterday I was able to access the folder via 'Shared', however today I am only getting this message through Finder and the 'Connect As..' button does not work.

That is because you are using Yosemite.. I would hazard a guess.. and of all the network dogs.. Yosemite takes first prize.

Reboot the whole network.. I suspect the external drive will suddenly appear.

Yosemite has forgotten where to look for it.
