Connecting to Time Capsule

Hi All,

If you had your Time Capsule on the same desk as your iMac would you connect by ac wireless or Ethernet? I know Ethernet is theoretically fast but from reading posts on the internet wired seems to be the preferred option.

Any advice would be great!
