I would like to know how to get rid of the 20000 archived emails on my iPhone 6 plus please? where do I go in settings, as I have checked everything I know of.

I think perhaps you will wish to visit the website of your email service provider on a computer, log into your account there and delete them in bulk. It may be done much more quickly this way.
