The internal speaker isn't working on my iPad

The internal speaker isn't working in my iPad. When I put the apple headphones in My iPad only one ear works, but when input it in my iPhone and iPod it works. I tried it with two different sets of headphones and it did the same thing. They work on everything but my ipad. So I believe something is wrong with my iPad.
