Can I use my iMac 2012 as monitor for Macbook 2008?

Hi,

I still regularly use my old Macbook 13" (early 2008) and also use my iMac 2012.

I'd love to be able to use the larger iMac as a monitor with my Macbook and would like to know if it's possible.

Thanks
