Get a USB stick that is large enough to hold it.

Reformat the thumbdrive as exFAT, NTFS, or Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as desired. A volume formatted as FAT32 cannot hold files which are 4GB or larger regardless of how much free space is available on it.
