I am trying to make 4 postcards on the template. How do I delete the dotted line in between the individual postcards?
MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
Click on the dotted line, and then hit the delete key. It is a shape object (line).
I tried to click on the dotted line but it won't delete. The dotted line is greyed out, if that makes sense
Well, if you have modified a Pages 2-up postcard template into 4-up, your dotted line may have become a background object, and would be grayed out. Single-click on the gray dotted line, and in the Format panel's Arrange tab, click Front to bring that dotted line to the foreground. Then click on the line again to select, and press the delete key.
It still didn't work. Upon further investigation, the dotted line is a cutting line to follow after printing. But I tackled my project another way.
