Forced password change
My phone has recently forced me to change my password that used to open my phone. I wasn't aware that this password expired, is this accurate?

How exactly did it "force" you to do this?
If you have a corporate Exchange account set up on your phone, the administrators can set policies requiring passcode changes.
you nailed it. That's exactly what happened, I set up a corporate exchange a few days ago. Thanks.
Yep. saw the same thing when I added Outlook and connected to mine. Just required a passcode; didn't have to change an existing one, however. Guess that's a matter of IT security policy.
