Assign Korg NanoKontrol 2 Knob to MIDI CC1

I'm using a Korg nanoKontrol as one of my MIDI control surfaces in Logic 10.0.7. I'd like to reassign one of the nanoKontrol's knobs to control vibrato intensity for a Kontact instrument on one of the channel. The nanoKontrol knobs are set to default as pan knobs and are working correctly, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to properly reassign one of them for vibrato control. I'm in the "Control Surfaces Assignments" window, but clicking the "Learn" button is not leading to the correct results. If you have a suggestion, please describe it for "Dummies". The assignment parameters in the Control Change box (i.e. BF 10 Lo7) are confusing to me and I don't understand how to change them, though it seems BF stands for MIDI Channel 16. Thanks.
