Is this possible? How to get sound ON AN APPLE?

This means for me with Quicktime Player X from the SCREEN, any movie which is playing there, in example (but not the only one)

the movie in the middle. Tried with QT Player, and SnapXPro. Picture already received, no sound in the saved file.

Just this one is to difficult to use for me. Can it be, that a MacPro with Yosemite is not able to record a playing movie including sound? SnapXPro could it until Yosemite…

If you have not already done so, check w/SnapXPro manufacturer/vendor for updates and/or upgrades.
Regarding VLC, do a Google search for video tutorials on how to capture sound using VLC. There are quite a few tutorials on YouTube.
What is with Quicktime Player X? Are you knowing it?

QT X is on your Dock & the original app (Quicktime Player.app) is inside your Applications folder.
You also have QuickTime Player 7.app which is inside your Utilities folder.
QT Player: I meant in response to record a movie with picture and sound. It offers a command in menu to record movie, but does not record the sound. What the dingsbums is going on? What is a movie without the sound?

vlc is the very last application I want to use. Filled in the parameters to record a movie, than it waited for OK, and runs over the screen taking a shot of the static screen five times per second - foolish.
Before I got Yosemite all worked for me, now I work just to get an answere how to do what Macs every time did, for hours.
I am not amused. ~k.
I use an external Microphone (Logitech USB Headset and Microphone) and I am able to caputre sound just fine when screen reocrding on quicktime.
Thank you; I recorded movies with a duration at least 40 hours together and needed never an external micro; what is going on?

I think part of the misunderstanding lies with the fact many people use the term screen capture to mean a screenshot.
