So.. I have an Apple ID and an alias, and I use the alias as my primary email address coz it's nicer.
I want to make my alias as my primary Apple ID coz I'm having trouble with some email apps, and I can't create a new Apple ID with my alias coz it's a "me.com" account (both are "me.com" and I'm afraid that if I delete the alias that I won't be able to get it back). I tried searching but no answer.. Could someone help?? Thnx..
I'm afraid you can't do this. You can't change an alias in any way, including making it the primary address or ID, or moving it to another account or making it another ID. Deleting it won't help, and you're right - it you delete it you may very well only be able to resurrect it as an @icloud.com address
