I can't figure out how to put the mp4 movies on my computer (which played on previous versions of itunes) into the 12.2 version of itunes. Nothing happens when I drag and drop or clicking "add to ". Yes, "read only" is not not checked. Help!

Try Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows. Note that newly added video files may well show up in the Home Videos section of the library.
