Download Content Crashes Logic 10.1.1

I recently migrated data to an external hard drive to relieve my straining 2012 MacBookPro, and afterwards LPX mysteriously wanted to download content, I thought I had completed the painful process last year but hey. Unfortunately it has crashed Logic every time, and after a few attempts I am sure that it is the "download content" which triggers the crashes. I can only think it might be due to having migrated the Apple loop data to the external drive and left an Alias on the system to direct the path, perhaps causing some conflict...but I don't see how.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
