My Apple Super Drive will not take a disk in. I can see a small silver clip in the middle of the door.

Does it accept them but then the tray opens again?
The CD will not go into the tray. I can push it in about half an inch but that's it.
Are you saying that the tray is stuck in the open (out) position?
Can you push it in with not disk in the tray?
Sounds like the optical drive is broken
It is an Apple Super Drive. There is no in-out tray. You just slide the disk into a slot.
Do you have a MacBook Pro?

Get help with the slot-loading SuperDrive on your Mac computer - Apple Support
Al try positing the computer so the slot is down and try to shake anything out.
