Lost my dock

Lost my dock and icons. How do I get them back?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2008), Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Yyou might be Full Screen mode in the app you're using now, or you changed Dock preferences. In either case, moving the pointed to the side of the screen where you normally keep the Dock (bottom of the screen, for most), should reveal it for you.

Size is middle. Magnification is middle. Position on screen is bottom. Genie effect. Minimize windows into app icon. Animate opening apps.
