I am not receiving emails on my iPad mini. I can send emails.

Sometimes i get a message that says the connection to the server has failed and sometimes the little wheel spins and then just stops but no new emails appear.

Who is your Email provider? Have you talked to them about this? Sounds like an issue with your email provider's server.
