Paypal hacked through iPad!

Hi,

I've had my PayPal hacked, two days in a row, after changing the password and security questions. I used my iPad when making the last PayPal transaction (via Safari) and to file the complaint using the new password. 2 hours later, another unauthorized transaction was made again from my account. The description says it was made from my PayPal Mobile App. I deleted the app from my iPhone and iPad last night so that was impossible. Is there some crazy spyware sneaking into iPads?? And if so, what do I do about it??

Another strong possibility is where you have been using the iPad while making transactions...any public WiFi is a given security hole. I would first try and do something like plug the security issues by using something like a VPN so your content becomes more closed in, but even then, be cautious about where you are doing business.

I did the transactions at home on my network that is closed. It's not even visible to searchers and rooted through an iMac.
