Cellular data plan runs out quickly

Hi,

I'm using a netstick with cellular data plan of 4GB.

The plan runs out quickly, after a few uses for a couple of days,

no videos or downloads, only browsing and whatever is running in the background, even stopped dropbox sync.

How can I monitor what consumes the cellular data ?

Thanks,

Yoni

Desktop operating systems like OS X or Windows don't assume they are connected to cellular, and freely use a lot of data. You'll have to contact the cellular provider for more info.

My laptops typically traffic about 75-100GB per month of ordinary usage with no movies. Background apps like Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive can do a lot if you use those for file storage.
