How can I retrieve photos from Camera360 backup?
Daughter's IPhone started showing 0 bytes available for storage. I've gone through the below to try to create some space, but now her 1700 Camera360 photos are no longer on the phone.
1. Start: IPhone 5 - 16GB - IOS 7.1, "0 bytes available" storage
- iCloud was not configured
- 1700+ photos in Camera360 - app and data consumed 5.2GB
2. Deleted 3 podcasts then the Podcast app (approx. 600 MB)
still showed 0 bytes available
3. Configured cloud backup inside Camera360 app
- started synching existing photos to cloud.camera360.com
- After 24 hours, had synched approximately 60 photos
- Deleted 10 or 15 photos in Camera360 regular album
- Turned on photo stream synch in Camera 360
- iPhone still showed 0 bytes available
4. Configured iCloud and performed backup
- iCloud backed up 3.3GB of data
- Logged into iCloud.com - see the backup but not what is inside it
- still shows 0 bytes available
5. Rebooted iPhone
still shows 0 bytes available
6. Connected to iTunes on PC and performed backup
Performed manual backup of iPhone to iTunes on PC
7. Restored iPhone to factory defaults
- Chose to restore iPhone to factory defaults
- prompted to upgrade to IOS 8.x as part of restore
- downloaded and upgraded iPhone to IOS 8.x
- Phone rebooted and completed upgrade then did a restore
- Phone resynched with iTunes
- All apps restored, all photo stream and regular camera photos restored
- Camera360 pictures (1700+) are missing
8. Performed manual backup restore to iPhone from iTunes (last backup before reset)
- Backup restore completed
- iTunes showed the App section as being approx. 6GB immediately after the backup restore completed
- iPhone then performed upgrade to IOS 8.x again
- Once upgrade completed again, iTunes showed the App section as being only 1GB - presumably the photos in Camera360 were not restored or removed after the restore.
So at this point I'm thinking that I need to some how get the Camera360 photos out of the backup that is in iTunes on the PC.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks
