1 playlist on iTunes then same playlist shows as 2 playlists on iPhone

Have 1 playlist on my iTunes (will use Dance as an example). On my iPhone it will show Dance twice. I believe purchased music and imported songs are somehow split into 2 playlists. How do I have them stay combined like they are on my iTunes?
