My computer shut down by itself. I unplug it for about 1 minute and it turn back on. I've read where I may need a new adapter or a new cord it that what I need to do?
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), shutting down on its own.

my computer has shut down the last two day, and I took out the plug for about a minute or so and it turn back on. It shut down by itself... Do I need a new adapter or a new cord or it is something else?
