iMessage/facetime issues

Hello,

For some reason my imessages aren't getting through, while my friend's are. She uses a macbook while I use an ipod touch 5th gen. Also, my facetime calls don't get through, but her's do.

Any ideas of why this might be happening and how to fix it? I suspect she may have accidentally blocked me, but I'm not sure
