I have windows 10 and newest itunes but doesnt reconize iphone or ipad anymore

I upgraded to windows 10 and the newest itunes and itunes no longer recognizes my ipad or iphone. I tried rebooting everything and turning all devices off and on and nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and nothing. I used a new cable and my ipad buzzes and starts charging when I plug (thats what the phone and pad say) but no icon on the itunes. Under notifications on the desktop it shows the ipad under "autoplay" and says "tap to choose what happens" but when i do, nothing happens. Please help!
