Video playback issue

I am having issues playing back videos in iTunes (doesn't matter if it is a rented video or one that i have ripped to my hard drive). What happens is only a tiny video pops up (maybe 480x480 and it won't get any bigger, plus I lose my pointer and I have to randomly move it out of iTunes and click on the desktop to get the pointer back. It didn't do this until I upgraded to 12.2. Anyone else having a similar issue?
