Itunes 12.2.1 not responding / black screen

Hi,

Since the update to 12.2.1, itunes keeps crashing / not responding / black screen. Noticed the bellow error in console followed by a spindump

31/07/2015 00:04:51.000 kernel[0]: process iTunes[5150] thread 660358 caught burning CPU! It used more than 50% CPU (Actual recent usage: 95%) over 180 seconds. thread lifetime cpu usage 90.042712 seconds, (88.420739 user, 1.621973 system) ledger info: balance: 90009289917 credit: 90012715226 debit: 3425309 limit: 90000000000 (50%) period: 180000000000 time since last refill (ns): 94074393442

And the only way to kill itunes is via terminal -> kill -9 <pid> . Anyone else also facing this issue?
