sound volume adjustment

You new version of Itunes blasts the music and when you turn it down it goes back to the last setting. It can cause hearing problems. I had gotten blasted w/turning it down then it goes back up on its own. I cannot save my sound settings? You need to fix this or will have issues with your customers.
