i have recently downloaded itunes to my pc. but it wont allow me to hide my purchases is there another way i can hide them?

There appears to be a bug in the current build of iTunes when trying to hide apps. The X that should appear at the top left when you hover over an item doesn't show, but the cursor should still change to indicate a clickable region when you move it to that corner, and clicking on it will hide the app.
