pdf attachment lost using icloud mail

pdf attachments to icloud mail are not being sent; I can see them in the email in my sent folder, but recipient does not receive; happens when using all pc's I have and at work; so its not the machines or the mail systems; the attachments go through fine using other mail systems I have, but this is a real problem; I have seen that this is not only my problem but a constant thread in the forums since 2010 (and some before) with no resolutions found (except if your using outlook); ANY ONE KNOW A SOLUTION YET?

ALSO, this is a problem for all 3 of my family's icloud mail servers
