Icloud help URGENT

I recently logged on to my friends Ipad with my icloud. When I gave her it back my icloud was still connected. She has logged me out but my Icloud like my messages were still going through to her Ipad. So on my iphone i have completely changed my ICloud account to a brand new account. I am just wondering if my imessages and stuff will be associated with my new apple Icloud account.
