so my phone is stuck turned off showing its charging and wont turn on

i was watching pornhub and stuff and as usual it dropped from 100% to 1% in about 10 mins and then turned off but i started charging it to get it to turn back on and it recognizes that it is being charged but wont turn back on and it has been several hours and still hasnt turned on. Hard reset hasnt worked and i dont know what else to do.
