No. If you can get it on there it will leave a black line running behind the playhead plus quite a few other oddities.

Logic 8 is just too old to work on Yosemite.

THANKS MY FRIEND FOR THE HELP. THIS WAS FOR MY MAC BOOK - I STILL RUN 2 G5 TOWER PC's AND DONT WISH TO DOWNGRADE MY MAC BOOK TO A LOWER OS X JUST FOR MIXING ON THE FLY - THANKS FOR THE HELP
