updating mac osx

hey, i have mbp md101 and mac osx version 10.8.3 is on it. i want to update my os but my connection speed is so low. so i can't update it online.

can i update my os with a dvd of previously downloaded update?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
