That sounds like a kernel panic.  Use these instructions to log and post it:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201753

What are the EXACT specifications of the new RAM modules?

    Ciao.

I will await the kernel panic report.

Also run an Apple hardware Test (if you can):

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.

    Ciao.

It would be helpful if you could post the kernel panic report.

Make certain that all peripherals are disconnected from the MBP.

Take out the RAM modules.  Clean the contacts.

Install one module in one bay and test.

Switch the module to the other bay and test.

    Repeat with the other module.

    Ciao.

Thank you for posting the kernel panic report.  Unfortunately it does not provide a definitive cause or clue to the problem, but I suspect that your RAM upgrade may be a prime candidate.  Here are a couple of guides in dealing with kernel panics that may be useful:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200553

    http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/kernelpanics.html

You might also test the RAM by downloading from Kelley computing, Rember:

    http://www.kelleycomputing.net/rember/

Run it over night so that sufficient loops are executed.

    Ciao.
