i have an iphone 6plus 16 gb and suddently my rear cam dont work evry time a try to take a photo it shows faint and not clear

im from lebanon i took it to the shop i baught it from and they said we need to install a new software
Camera App on my iPhone 6 works fine, front and back camera. And iPhone 6 and 6+ lenses are the same. Is that the app they think is faulty? I don't think so. More likely to be a hardware issue but I would restart iPhone (home and power button until you see Apple logo).
