iTunes Match and iCloud storage space

I've been thinking about subscribing to iTunes Match. I currently subscribe to a paid iCloud plan of 20GB. My music library is much larger than 20GB, even with the fact that many of the songs are "matched" and in the cloud, there are many audio files and tracks that will not be in iTunes and will have to be uploaded. My question is, does iTunes match use my 20GB iCloud space, or is it somehow separate? Will I have to upgrade my storage plan to accommodate before subscribing?

Thanks!

iTunes match does not use your icloud storage. There is no need to increase this. The only limitation is 25,000 tracks that are matched or uploaded.
