Lost sound on new mac mini
I've suddenly lost sound on my new mac mini. I do not have external speakers and it's not connected to any other device - I just use the internal speaker. How do I fix this?

Go to System Preferences>Sounds>Output. Is the internal speaker listed? Is it selected?
During bootup do you still hear the startup chime?
Try resetting the SMC and NVRAM/PRAM
