I've dropped my iPhone 5S IOS7 from about 5 ft height on a soft carpet and won't turn on. There's no sign of scratches, cracks! I've tried all the combinations possible of pressing Lock/Unlock + Home or Lock/Unlock + Home + Volume ( - ) minus for 10, 20,30 even 60 seconds but without any results. When I'm connecting it to the charger the display flashes for a second but still nothing happens after this. I left it during the night for charging then I've tried again and again everything without results again.

What do you think, in my case is the phone totally damaged?

Please advice what should I do!

Take it to an Apple Store, you can't fix it yourself.

****! The closest Apple Store is to 250 miles away from me.. that's the problem! Pff! I will have to figure it out somehow..

Maybe your battery shocked suddenly and drained all energy in it. Please wait couple of hours with doing nothing then try to recharge it.

I left the phone yesterday to rest in peace all day long, for about let's say 12 hours then during the night I put it on charger..still nothing in this morning.

But I will let it another day without touching it, I will charge it then I will start again the "CPR" procedures 🙂

This's the best thing you can do after all your effort.if nothing changes, you'll have to drop by Apple Store.

Hmm.. I let the phone to rest a lil bit these days and I've tried now again to charge it. Now it shows up the apple icon on the display but if I push any button the screen goes black and nothing happens..

With all these I pushed again the Lock/Unlock + Home for many seconds but it seems that it doesn't want to work.
