where is the redeem button to launch software I purchased online?

Where did you buy the software ? If you bought apps from the App Store (either directly on your phone, or on your computer's iTunes and then synced to your phone) the app's icon should show on one of your phone's home screens - if not then go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and redownload it.
