Outlook 2011 still asking for password

Okay, what verison of OS X do you use and when did this issue begin? Please be specific, we don't know a thing about what you have tried, the version of OS X installed, what version of Office 2011 you have installed. Please don't assume that we know, we rely on you to post complete information so we can help answer your questions.

Reinstall MS Office for Mac and after re-installed then check for updates and install all recommended updates.

Re-download from Microsoft's site, you will need the security keys MS supplied to you. Also ensure you keep Office up-to-date. You can get Office Updates by clicking the Help menu in Office (any app) and you will see a link to check for updates.

I also faced similar issues in Mac OSX 10.10. With update of security patches, I was succeed to fix this one issue.

It's incredibly annoying and the more I research this, the more it seems that neither Microsoft or Apple are willing to find a solution. I have tried many times, and employed many methods, to resolve the issue, but have now reached the end of my tether (there were password prompts and error messages intruding into my dreams!) and use Apple Mail (without any problems whatsoever). It's just a shame that a quarter of the Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook quartet is useless.

I Use Outlook on all my IOS devices. I merely went to settings in my Outlook app on iPad and iPhone and turned on the 'Touch ID" mode and was never asked for the password again.
