i dropped my iphone and it wont turn on

I dropped my iphone and it wont turn on. I was getting the software update when I dropped my phone. I think what happened was it shut down to reload, as usual, but now it wont come back on. I keep pushing and holding the power button but it doesn't respond. Even when I plug it in the computer, nothing happens. HELP! I'm so scared I'll have to buy a new phone.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the iPhone will not turn on and is not recognized by the computer. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
