So my IPhone 5 was working as usual, until it turned off due to the time I did not touch it. I turned the screen on again, and once I was about to put my passcode, the screen suddenly freezes. It won't let me enter my passcode. Why is this happening?

If you are having issues with iPhone becoming unresponsive when you try to enter your passcode, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
