after trying to update to the latest IOS, my Ipad 2 wouldn't update or won't restore and is frozen at connect to itunes. It goes trhough extracting software and then disconnects from itunes very near the end

Yes, I tried all of that several times. After it goes through the whole extracting of software, it says it can't restore because it can't find the device. Once or twice it had disconnected, but this last time, the Ipad was still connected and it's information was there, but it still said it couldn't fine the device and couldn't restore
Have you tried restoring on a different computer?
Hi
Turn iPad off
Connect lead to USB on your PC
Press & hold power button on iPad Don't let go
Connect lead to iPad keep power button pressed down
Until PC sees ipad wait for Restore .
You may need to do this a few times .

Thanks for the help both of you. I finally got it to restore. I had to do it 6 or 7 times, but it finally did it. I was just going to go get another computer to try it on and then it worked.
