I am experiencing audio drops both while editing, and in the exported movie.

I recently got a new computer at work - it is a nearly maxed out Retina 5K 27-inch iMac.

Processor: 4 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

HD: 1 GB SSD

OS: 10.10.4

FCPX Version: 10.2.1

I am currently editing the audio on a short piece that some of our video interns did this summer (I work at a University), and was experiencing audio drops while previewing in FCPX. Not something I was suprised by, but something I would not expect from this supposedly blazing-fast machine. I could simply bring the playhead back a few, and that audio would eventually appear. There did not appear to be any rendering going on (via background tasks)... so that was odd. What really threw me is the exported file... it also has audio drops.

I am not even working on this project from my Thunderbolt-connected Drobo - but directly from the HD!

I just exported AGAIN and it did it AGAIN! http://youtu.be/Wx7XxJKZPII

Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
