I have to say I find your question extremely confusing.

First of all, you posted in the iPhone community, so I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that you are asking about using your iPhone to save a photo you received by email on the iPhone.

But you refer to an "iPhotos folder." Even when iPhoto was supported (which is no longer true on either a Mac or an iPhone), there was not an "iPhotos folder" on either an iPhone or a Mac. There was an iPhoto library on a Mac, but it was in the Mac's Pictures folder. On the Mac, iPhoto was replaced by Photos with OS X 10.10.3.

So if your question really should be "How do I save a photo received by email on my iPhone?", then the answer is to hold down the photo with one finger for a while, then choose "Save Image" which will place it in the iPhone's Camera Roll.
