Can I connect a bluetooth headset and an apple watch to my iPhone 6 simultaneously

I am considering buying an apple watch to use for cycling/running and day to day life. However when I cycle or run I connect to my iPhone 6 using a Bluetooth headset. Will I be able to connect both an Apple Watch and my bluetooth headset at the same time? i have seen conflicting information on the forums relating to this.
