My Iphone5 got bent in Jeans Pocket resulting in screen broken is this possible?

Hey There,

I am using Iphone 5 from around 4 months, it was a great experience using it but one day I don't know how mgy Iphone got bent in my jean's pocket resulting in screen broken and the display was showing a half coloured screen. Further when I checked wether the other things were working including the Silent button, Home screen button and all the buttons were working but It was of no use because the screen was not responding.

I wana know if this is really possible or it was a clone one ?
