In iTunes, do the search term from my music, select either my music or Apple Music, click on the three dots from the song you want to base the music station from (Apple Music) or from a right click on the song (My Music) and select New Station from Artist or New Station from Song.
Thanks for the reply. What if the station I want to create is something brand new and I have no artist or song to base it off of.
The process is the same for almost all artists and songs, but some artists are outliers and don't allow the standard use of their music. Sometimes it is just one song, or album, or could be all their music. For instance Frank Sinatra songs do not allow a radio station to be built. Dolly Parton does. ZZ Top is an issue too. In these cases, you just have to find one of their songs that are allowed or a similar artist, but you may not get the artist / song you are after in the station because they don't play ball with Apple Music.
What artist are trying to build from?
Thanks! Now I understand!! I just downloaded a .99 song in the genre I was looking for then hit the 3 dots after that and built the station from that. Thanks again! I appreciate your time and help.
