Why does my iPod Touch continually ask for password verification?

I'm being asked by my iPod for verification by entering my password. Each time I do, a message comes-up saying my password cannot be verified try agin or choose later... I check my verifications on Apple, and all is in order. Does anyone have a solution?

- Safari works, right?

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on your router

- Try when connected to another network

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
