**** Virus??

I was trying to look for shows on a free television website when it opened up two new browsers that said warning and three **** viruses were detected. It gave me a link to click to get rrid of them but I didn't click it because it didn't look like a valid website (It had apple in the name but it didn't look like one of their websites.) the only think is a pop up from safari came up as well saying I have the viruses. Should I be concerned? Is there a test I can run to see if I do have any viruses?
